About Tabsamo
Tabsamo Group is a technology holding company, building from Mogadishu. Founded in 2017, it has grown from a single idea into a family of ventures across health, education, finance, and civic life — each run as its own institution, all sharing one foundation: a single identity layer, common payment rails, a shared design system, and one engineering standard.
The name
Tabsamo is a coined word. In Somali, tab is a hab or qaab — a method, a way of doing. Because what matters is not only what gets built, but how: the method and the making, together. That idea is the company.
Why a family of ventures, not one
A single product chasing many markets dilutes; institutions under one discipline compound. We keep each venture sharp in its own market while the shared foundation improves for all of them at once — and we build for the rails as they are in the markets we serve, not as a brochure imagines them.
